Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Drinks Delivery Group ("we", "us", "our"), we aim to provide fast, reliable delivery both locally and across the UK mainland. This policy explains how delivery works when you place an order with us. Full details are also on our Delivery Information page.
1. Delivery Options & Costs

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Orders placed after the cut-off are processed the next working day (or the next day for local delivery).
The free delivery threshold of £100 applies to same-day local delivery and Standard delivery on the UK mainland. It does not apply to Express, Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland delivery.
We do not currently deliver to the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or outside the United Kingdom.
2. Same-Day Local Delivery
- Available to the RH postcodes listed above, from our West Sussex depot
- Orders placed before the cut-off (10am Monday–Saturday, 9am Sunday) are delivered the same day
- Once you place a local order, we will call or email you to arrange a delivery slot
- Our driver will wait up to 10 minutes at the delivery address
- If we are more than 1 hour late for your agreed delivery slot, we will issue a £10 credit for a future order
3. UK Mainland Courier Delivery
- Orders outside our local delivery area are sent with trusted courier partners
- Delivery timeframes depend on the service selected at checkout
- Tracking details will be provided where available
- If you are not available, the courier may leave a card or contact you to arrange redelivery or collection
4. Missed Deliveries
Local deliveries:
- First missed delivery: free rescheduling
- Further missed attempts: £5 fee per attempt
Courier deliveries:
- Missed deliveries are handled by the courier
- Any redelivery, storage or return fees may be passed on where applicable
5. Processing Times
- Most orders placed before the cut-off are processed and dispatched the same day
- During busy periods, dispatch and delivery times may be extended
- We will keep you informed of any delays
6. Age-Restricted Deliveries
Alcohol can only be delivered to customers aged 18 or over.
- Local deliveries: our drivers operate a Challenge 25 policy and will ask for valid photo ID
- Courier deliveries: our couriers use age-verified delivery and may ask for ID or date of birth on handover
- Orders will be refused if age cannot be verified, or if the recipient appears to be buying for someone under 18
7. Delivery Liability
- We may take photographic proof of delivery for all orders
- If a safe place is nominated, delivery is made at your own risk
- Once delivery has been completed (including safe place delivery), responsibility for the order passes to the customer
We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft after delivery has been completed in accordance with your instructions.
8. Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, weather conditions and courier issues. This does not affect the £10 late credit for local deliveries described in section 2.
